New procedure for .EU transfer and trade
Friday, November 16, 2012
On November 21, 2012 the old trade and transfer procedure will be ceased by the EURid.
In the future, .EU domains have to be transferred only with an AuthCode. By removing the Transfer-Lock for an outgoing transfer, the AuthCode will be automatically requested and can then be found in the domain info in the customer area. It is valid for 40 days. Thus the approval e-mail is no longer needed. You will profit from a transfer in real-time, because the provider change will easily be realized with the correct AuthCode.
The trade procedure will disappear completely on November 21, 2012. An owner change can then be made with a free Domain Update. Incoming transfers of .EU domains will be initiated with the option "Transfer" regardless of whether a owner change is executed or the domain is in quarantine.
The owner change will automatically be made with the domain transfer.
As before, the .EU transfer includes one-year term. The remaining registration term will be taken over.
