Taking over current name servers during a domain transfer

If you want to keep the current nameservers of your previous provider during a domain transfer you can select the desired settings in the course of the ordering process.

By default this option is disabled in the shopping cart and can be activated if required in the order process. Click the tab ''Nameserver'' in the shopping cart and activate the checkbox ''Keep current nameserver settings''.

If possible, the current nameservers of the previous provider will be used. This only applies to the nameservers and not to the entries/records on the nameservers. You can specify these features as default. Therefore, follow the menu item ''Settings'' -> ''Default Settings'' and finally choose the tab ''Nameserver''.

If this option is enabled, we will try to keep the current nameservers in the course of each transfer. Other default settings within the nameserver will not apply.

You can enable/disable this function for a particular domain name apart from the default anytime in the shopping cart.
